The Stroke Association is calling on volunteers in Lincoln to help support their Family and Carer Support Service, and make a real difference to people in the area who have been affected by stroke.
A stroke club in Andover is celebrating 30 years of supporting stroke survivors and their families in the town.24 Members of the group celebrated the birthday with the new Mayor Iris Anderson and her consort John Cockaday in Kimbridge Restaurant during Action on Stroke Month on the 21st May 2015.

The Sentinel Stroke National Audit Programme (SSNAP) is launching an audit report on the organisation of care for stroke patients once they have left hospital. The audit covers England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and includes care in community hospitals, care homes and in the patients’ own home.

A new Stroke Association Voluntary group has been launched in Dover.The group held its official launch in the Ark in Noah’s Ark road on the 7th May 2015.Stroke survivor Peter Groombridge from Shepherdswell decided to open a voluntary group with support from the Stroke Association after a stroke club in the town was closed down due to the sad death of the club’s Vice Chairperson Jean Henderson.
