Mini-stroke survivor: Mark
In 2011 Mark, 28, had a TIA after he was hit by a car whilst walking home from work. Paramedics took Mark to hospital where he was kept in A&E overnight. It was here the doctor first mentioned the term stroke. Mark had a second TIA five days later.
