years old, the Dewbery family from Suffolk
is proving there is definitely life after stroke. Two years on, Lily along with
her older brother Max (8), will run a small race, whilst their mum Amanda
tackles the Lowestoft Scores Race, on Sunday 14 September in aid of the Stroke

7, from Peckham, South London, has completed a 100km charity cycle ride from

A 40-year-old mother of two from Halifax has been hailed a real-life ‘superwoman’ after scooping the Stroke Association’s prestigious Fundraiser of the Year award.

Local Halifax resident Paul Thomas, 36, proved there is ‘Life after Stroke’ by taking part in the Step out for Stroke fundraising walk at Roundhay Park on Saturday 31 May, alongside his newborn baby girl, Maddy.
Team 18in24 have driven to 18 countries in 23 hours and 32 minutes, beating the previous record of 17 countries in 28 hours. They have so far raised more than £10,000 for charities including the Stroke Association, with more donations still coming in.
